Cesare N. Aspes, Ph.D. has over 30 years experience in developing strategic and operational solutions for private and public clients throughout Western Europe, USA; Latin America, Africa and Eastern Europe. During this time, he has led multinational and interdisciplinary teams in complex international projects for investors looking for new opportunities in new markets.

Prior to becoming a senior partner of A+P Consulting in 2000, Dr Aspes spent five years as the managing director of Kienbaum Development Services, a German consulting company with focus on consultancy in emerging and developing countries. Before this, he was a senior partner with Kurt Salmon Associates-(KSA) Atlanta/USA and Düsseldorf/Germany for almost fifteen years, primarily focused on developing and implementing international strategies, restructuring operations and improving performance. For overseas clients he has developed important entry and/or expansion strategies in Europe and assisted overseas investors for ha successful start. He implemented joint ventures with domestic manufacturers and developed global sourcing and marketing concepts. He was involved in international M&A activities on behalf of investment banks and institutions to ensure the proper allocation of equity capital, financial resources and operational support. Dr Aspes was for a period of five years also manager of an investment fund financed by KFW/DEG and EIB to assist investors with appropriate financial resources. In addition, he carried out sectoral studies for international organisations, like World Bank.

He is recognized for his conduct of many situational analyses of durable consumer goods manufacturers with an emphasis on benchmarking, evaluating competitive market situations and projecting growth potential. Based on these analyses, he has worked closely with his clients to implement long-term growth strategies and to achieve operational improvements within the agreed time and cost frames.

Dr Aspes received his M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Stuttgart, Germany, and his Ph.D. in strategic planning for consumer goods industries from the University of Padua, Italy. He is a member of the German and European Associations of Professional Consultants, the Society of German Marketing Association and the European Society for Operations Research.

He is frequently asked to speak at conferences and write articles on various subjects of international interest. He is an Italian and German national living near Düsseldorf, Germany. In addition to Italian, he writes and speaks fluently in German, English, French and Spanish.
